“Modesty is a Branch of Faith” an Awareness Seminar organised by Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources

09 May, 2019

The Events and Activities Office at the Directorate of Human Resources organised an awareness seminar entitled “Modesty is a Branch of Faith” delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Darwish Mohammed from the Islamic Affairs Department, who highlighted the virtue of this holy month of fasting on men and its role in instilling many lessons. The seminar was held at the men’s prayer room in the Directorate’s headquarters in Al Liya, attended by several Department Managers and employees of the Directorate.
Jawaher Saif Al Oud, Director of the Events and Activities Office, said that the Directorate is keen to organise religious lectures during the holy month of Ramadan for all the male and female employees of the Directorate, in order to raise the level of religious awareness, enhance their religious culture and enrich the spiritual aspect. We also seek to encourage employees to excel in their work and to benefit from the holy month by combining all their efforts to create a work environment that is full of Ramadan’s vitality and atmosphere, motivating them to exert efforts and carry out their professional duties to the fullest. For our part, we urge the male and female employees to invest time in Ramadan through worship, where the servant renews his relationship with his God.
In his lecture, Sheikh Abdullah Darwish shed the light on the meaning of “Modesty is a Branch of Faith” by presenting several important points that urge the people to observe the values and meanings of the Islam and to do the good deeds during this holy month.
